Quality Commitment

Quality of the products is being maintained as per the International Standard and it has established its name in the international market as a quality producer of silk. The company has entered into a techno-commercial collaboration with one of the world famous silk manufacturer in Italy.

The raw material called cocoon silk waste to manufacture the above products is well sorted manually many times for removal of even the slightest impurity such as hair, synthetic, straw and any foreign matter to avoid the contamination in the fabric.

Silk fiber as a protein fiber is produced from silkworm Bombyx mori and consist of 97 % protein and the rest are wax, carbohydrate, pigments and inorganic compound. Hence the silk waste is being bleached and degummed by latest machineries controlled by micro-processor very minutely.

After degumming the degummed silk waste is being carded, combed and passed through the drawframe to ensure the uniformity and parallelization of the silk top sliver. Spun silk yarn is made from this silk top sliver.

The spun silk yarn is dyed by fully automatic state of art cone dyeing machines. Silk noil yarn is made from the short fiber removed by the combers during the process of silk top sliver.

Our plant is fully equipped with over 200 imported machineries from NSC France, OCTIR, FOR, SAVIO, MARZOLI, EDERA, ZINSER and VOUK Italy, complemented by a complete testing laboratory equipped with ALMETER AL-100, NATI Mesdan, Premier Tester, Computerized twist tester, Computerized count tester, Impurity tester, Spectrophotometer and sample developer managed by a team of qualified experienced professional textile engineers and technologist trained in Italy to maintain the quality of the products.

Process Control

COCOON SILK WASTE

The raw material, called cocoon silk waste, to manufacture our products is obtained mainly from Karnataka, South India.

01

RAW MATERIAL

The raw material is sorted manually many times for removal of impurity such as hair, synthetic, straw and any foreign matter to avoid contamination of the fabric.

02

SILK FIBER

Silk fiber, as a protein fiber, is produced from silkworm (Bombyx mori) and consists of 97% protein, the rest being wax, carbohydrate, pigments and inorganic compound.

03

SILK WASTE

The silk waste is thoroughly bleached and degummed by latest microprocessor controlled machineries.

04

MANUAL SORTING

After degumming the silk waste undergoes another round of manual sorting to further identify impurities to avoid contamination.

05

PROCESSED SILK

The degummed silk waste is processed through state of the art machineries from NSC France, OCTIR, FOR, SAVIO, MARZOLI, EDERA, ZINSER and VOUK Italy equipping our plant.

TESTING LABORATORY

The testing laboratory equipped with cutting edge technology such as ALMETER AL-100, NATI Mesdan , Premier Tester, Computerised twist tester , Computerised count tester, Impurity tester , Spectrophotometer and sample developer; also managed by a team of qualified experienced professional textile engineers and technologist trained in Italy work relentlessly to maintain the quality of the products.
